EverConvert converts files in your browser. Nothing you convert reaches our servers. This page is short because the product gives us very little about you to store.
EverConvert is two tools. Both run entirely in your browser.
The web converter. You drop an Evernote export, HTML, or PDF. The conversion runs in your browser using JavaScript. Your file never leaves your machine. We do not upload it, parse it on a server, or see its contents. You can verify this with browser devtools — zero network requests carry file content during conversion.
The Chrome extension. You click the toolbar icon on any web page. The extension reads the page you're already viewing, converts it to Markdown in the extension's popup, and lets you copy it or download it as a .md file. The page content never travels through our servers.
We do not keep a library of your content. There is no search, no cloud storage, no history. Your output files live where you save them — on your machine, in the folder you chose.
The minimum needed to run the billing side of the product. The complete list:
That's the whole list. We do not keep logs of what you converted or what you clipped, because we never receive that content in the first place.
To run the billing side of the product, each receives the minimum data required to perform its function. None of them receive the content you convert.
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top and send a notice to your account email. We do not change the core posture silently.
