The rules for using EverConvert. Written in plain language. If anything reads like lawyer hedge, email support@everconvert.app and we'll fix it.
EverConvert is a product of Yonasol LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company. Throughout these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Yonasol LLC, and “EverConvert” means the web app at everconvert.appand the Chrome extension published as “EverConvert Clipper.”
Mailing address: 215 East Bay St, Ste 201k #2510, Charleston, SC 29401, USA.
EverConvert is two tools. The web app converts Evernote exports (.enex), HTML, and PDFs into Markdown, HTML, or JSON. The Chrome extension converts any web page you're viewing into Markdown — copy to clipboard or download as a .md file.
Both tools run entirely in your browser. Your files and page content never leave your machine. See the Privacy page for the short list of what we do and don't hold.
EverConvert offers two purchase types.
Your license key is yours. Don't share it. We monitor license reuse across unrelated devices and may deactivate on abuse.
Thirty days, no questions, on Lifetime. Reply to any email asking and it's refunded same day.
Pro refunds are pro-rated for the unused portion of the current period. If the product broke for you, tell us and we'll make it right even outside these windows. We are small and talk to customers directly.
You own everything you put into EverConvert and everything that comes out. We do not claim any rights to your notes, your conversions, or the files you download.
Because conversion runs in your browser, we never receive the contents of your files. The only data we hold about you is the minimum needed to run the product — see Privacy.
We aim for 99.5 percent uptime on the marketing site and license verification endpoints. Conversions keep working even when our servers are down — they run in your browser and never needed us in the first place.
We don't offer SLAs on the Lifetime plan. Pro customers get status updates via email on incidents longer than one hour.
To the extent allowed by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the total amount you paid us in the prior twelve months. For Lifetime, that's $19. For a free user, that's $0. We don't cover indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential loss.
This is standard cap language. It doesn't mean we don't care when something breaks. It means we are a one-operator business and can't underwrite unlimited risk.
We may change the product, including adding, removing, or altering features. If a change meaningfully reduces what a Lifetime user paid for, we will either roll the change back or offer a refund for the Lifetime purchase. Lifetime means lifetime.
You can stop using the service any time. Delete your license key from Settings to remove your account record.
We can terminate an account for fraud or repeated violation of these terms. We'll email the account before doing this unless the abuse is active and automated.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA. Any dispute that can't be resolved by email goes to a court sitting in South Carolina. We think this will never happen.
